Night on River Street

Savannah’s Historic River Street is paved with 200-year-old cobblestone and is always a wonderful area in the daytime to watch the boats running up the Savannah River to unload at the nearby port. The area is continuously fun to paint and, for me, particularly at night—well, really in the early, early morning hours—just after the crowds have cleared the street from a night of eating, drinking and fun.
