I cannot tell a lie: I am a huge fan of Red Doors and love painting them, especially those of beautiful churches. And the elegant red doors of St. John’s Church on Madison Square are a perfect example. But its red doors are hardly what most sets this historic church apart in Savannah. Its congregation follows the Old-Fashioned Faith and Order of the Anglican tradition, which has become far rarer even than lovely red doors.
